The files named elegans_mgene_missing_genes.* contain the annotation (WS180), the mRNA and the amino-acid sequences of genes annotated unconfirmed genes in WS180, that mGene did not predict.

The files named elegans_mgene_new_genes.* contain annotation, mRNA and amino-acid sequences of genes predicted by mGene which did not overlap with WS180 annotated protein coding genes.

The files are based on the annotation available in the parent folder in the file http://www.fml.tuebingen.mpg.de/raetsch/suppl/mgene/predictions/mGene-C-elegans-WS180-cat3.gff3.bz2
