This data has been used for the evaluation of the SplAdder software. This file shall give a brief overview on the content of the differnt files. For questions or suggestion, please contact Andre Kahles (andre dot kahles at ratschlab dot org) gencode.v19.annotation.gtf The human Gencode annotation version 19. gencode.v19.annotation.mult_iso.gtf The human Gencode annotation version 19, restricted to gene entries with at least two transcripts annotated. gencode.v19.annotation.mult_iso_subsample_1000_genes.gtf The human Gencode annotation version 19, restricted to gene entries with at least two transcripts annotated and subsequently randomly downsampled to 1000 genes. gencode.v19.annotation.mult_iso_subsample_1000_genes.first_only.gtf The human Gencode annotation version 19, restricted to gene entries with at least two transcripts annotated and subsequently randomly downsampled to 1000 genes. Only the first transcript is represented in this file. gencode.v19.annotation.mult_iso_subsample_1000_genes.first_only.plus_dummy.gtf The same file as gencode.v19.annotation.mult_iso_subsample_1000_genes.first_only.gtf but additional dummy entries have been added for chromosomes that were present in the genome annotation but did not have annotations. This was an input requirement to at least one of the evaluated programs. gencode.v19.annotation.mult_iso_subsample_1000_genes_sorted.gtf_astalavista.gtf.gz The output of the Astalavista toolbox run to detect alternative splicing events from gencode.v19.annotation.mult_iso_subsample_1000_genes.gtf. This was used as ground truth for evaluation.
